Went for a tire repair for a small nail in tire. They said it was in a spot that was unrepairable even though it was in the treads. Sent pictures to my friend that is a manager at another tire center for Costco and he called bs, called their center to inquire why they couldn't do it and they admitted they didn't really look at the tire, then he explained they can do the repair and said we could take it back in. Going to belle tire instead for a simple repair, not trusting these guys with any tire business

2/26/2026: walked in with no appointment, they took my vehicle in less than 2 hours, brand new set of tires, zero issues, zero complaints. Professional, efficient, helpful. 5 stars.

Not a great experience. The employees are friendly enough and it's been pretty timely once they have the car but the service itself is severely lacking. Over time I had purchased 3 tires without issue and one eventually had a slow leak and the 4th tire was ready to be replaced. I ordered the tire off the website and scheduled the install and the tire repair. When I arrived it took about 20 minutes just waiting in line which is not a huge deal but I wasn't expecting the wait. Their system was having issues so they had to create a new appointment and invoice for the service and forgot to include the tire repair. I mentioned it to the employee and she wrote down the repair and which tire it was. They didn't do the tire repair at all. The leak was still an issue a couple weeks later and I had to go back in for another appt and they admitted it wasn't repaired when they said it would be. I needed a new tire which was thankfully covered under the warranty. That was ordered on December 20 and I finally called on January 4 since I had gotten no information about the tire arriving. I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this tire center. I bought 4 new Michelin tires from them 2 years ago and thought I was getting a great deal because of the 5 year warranty. Had this big gash appear in my tire so I brought it in the next day to get looked at, I showed the woman that took my keys the picture and she goes “oh that looks superficial, that shouldn’t take long.” A half hour later I get a call that they couldn’t find anything wrong with my tire. When I asked about the big gash in the tire he was surprised and had to go look. He came out about 10 minutes later and told me the tire had been discontinued and for them to honor the warranty and put a new tire on my car I would have to replace the other 3 tires because the treads on each tire have to be within a certain amount of eachother for AWD vehicles. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he would get him. I patiently waited for about 25 minutes before asking another employee to see if the manager was coming, the manager immediately came out and said he wasn’t even told I wanted to speak to him until that moment, 30 minutes of my time wasted because they can’t communicate. I bought NEW snow tires last December 2023, only ran them 2-3 month since winter was mild, then switched to my Summer tires, now Jan 2024 installed the Costco snow tires, and happen to have a nail puncture on one tire, took the car in for tire repair, covered per Costco warranty, the guy came back and said the area of the puncture is in a no repair zone and they will replace the Tire. I said ok thanks, once completed I get a 72 dollar charge, which surprised me, its covered by warranty or not? the tech replied yes but per Costco small prints policy, they only cover the initial paid value of your current tire. The new tire cost more ( online value was the same) and you are responsible for the difference. A total scam, I didn't ask for a new tire, how about replacing it with a good same use tire? I will go back to ordering from online top tire store, that gladly replaced my summer tire, for pothole damage, with a new one, and didn't even take the damaged one back, free of charge. Costco offer a good price but dealing with a scam on your loyal shoppers is bad for Business. Don't be duked by the fast PR speeches when buying tires from Costco, this will be my last time.
